If content is King, viral content is the queen that pushes him to success.
Going viral in today’s day and age isn’t hard. A single video that hits your audience in the feels, makes them laugh out loud or takes them on a very nice walk down memory lane will do the trick.
But that is exactly why it isn’t easy either. On paper, this seems easy to do. But in reality, a lot of thought goes into creating content that actually achieves that.
You can’t create content with the aim of going viral. You create content of such class that going viral just becomes the ultimate end result.
So where do you begin?

Timely and unique.
When we talk about your content being fresh, we are referring to content that the public hasn’t seen before and that is presented in a timely manner.
Now you must be thinking, how can we come up with ideas that have NEVER been covered before?
Well, first of all, when you put your mind to it, you actually will come across things that have never been talked about in quite the way you want to tackle them.
Which leads us to our next point – you can talk about things that have been discussed before. That’s ok. What you need to do, however, is to bring something new to the conversation.
A new element, a new perspective, a new way to package it entirely.
Anything that sets it apart from all other similar (or not) content.
The other important thing is to be prompt – you don’t want to publish news or talk about a trend two days after people have exhausted their energies discussing it.
Unless, in doing that, you bring a well-researched perspective that will leave your audience in awe, stick to ensuring your content doesn’t get stale!
Not all subject matter is such that it can be laughed about.
Neither is all content lighthearted and casual.
We understand that and we agree with it.
But when you are creating content for digital content, your aim is to take the consumer on a journey that ends with you making a sale.
When we say your content should be fun, we mean that your customers or potential customers must enjoy consuming it and interacting with it.
Because that is the first step on the journey to conversion.

The first thing we can think about when emotions are discussed is sad content that tugs at the strings of everyone’s hearts and forces them to share it with others.
And for good reason.
That is the kind of content that, when executed well, is bound to go viral without much advertising effort from your end.
Tearjerkers have that effect on people – they want to share it with their loved ones.
But that is not all emotional content is.
Content can be jam-packed with all kinds of emotions.
It can fill a person’s heart with joy.
Well-executed messages can bring to life the desire to do good and give back to the community.
Splendid content can, if nothing else, encourage consumers to share it with others so they too can feel that emotion and take some kind of positive action as a result.
And if it succeeds in doing that, it will automatically be made viral by people who feel it, relate to it, and want others to feel the same way.
These are just a few of the characteristics of content that, itself, asks to be shared.
And one thing is for sure – it should be shareable. You can create the best emotional ad or the most creative list of to-dos or must-haves but if people do not have the option to easily share it, all that effort will go to waste.
